During the last weekend of September Cueva La Martina participated in the third edition of “The culinary madness of Don Quixote”. The gathering was a complete success.
The Sa Punta restaurant in Son Servera, Majorca, organized last weekend a kind of cooking festival under the name ‘The culinary madness of Don Quixote’ which brought together seventeen excellent chefs from the Balearic Islands and the Spanish Peninsula – including Pedro Carramolino, our chef at Cueva La Martina.
The chefs, who gathered in Mallorca, created each a Tapa (small dish) inspired by Cervantes’ Don Quixote to delight a numerous group of diners who didn’t want to miss the chance to savor these exquisite delicacies.
Our Chef Pedro Carramolino participated in this ‘quixotic culinary madness’ cooking a delicious Tapa of Black Garlic Salmorejo with crunchy Serrano ham.
The “culinary madness of Don Quixote” took place for the third time and enjoys increasing popularity, which, given the quality of the cooked food is not surprising.
To Cueva La Martina it is an honor to be part of such a select group.
